| Peebles Church of Christ "A Heart for Jesus, A Love for People!" |
I am thankful for the way in which God has worked in my family, leading
us to the Peebles Church of Christ. The years I have served here thus
far have been a true joy and a blessing. As a church family, we have
seen good times and difficult times but several things have remained
constant:

A heart for Jesus: Serving as your minister, it is obvious to me how much you love Jesus. I can
see it in your attitudes and in your actions. You truly love your Lord with all your heart, mind, soul
and strength.
A love for people: One of the things that first drew me to the Peebles Church of Christ, was when
I visited here and saw how you treated one another. I could tell immediately that this was a place
where people are loved.
God's faithfulness: Through it all, God has continued to patiently work in our lives and in our
church. It has been wonderful to see lives changed here. To see young Christians growing into
maturity. To see people come, be immersed into Christ and have their lives changed for an
eternity. I thank God that we get to be a part of His great work. I praise Him for His continued
faithfulness to us.
These three constants are things that will help us to not only dream big dreams for the future, but to
see those dreams become a reality in our church. Let us never stop developing a heart for Jesus
and a love for people. May we always strive to be faithful to God who has always been faithful to
us.
Ephesians 3:20-21 reads "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we
ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the
church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever Amen."
God has certainly done more in my life and in my ministry than I would ever have imagined. It is
because of His power that I have the privilege to be your minister. I know that He is going to
continue to amaze us with His immeasurable blessings.
I look forward to many years of ministry, working hand in hand with you to bring God great glory in
the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations.
